Scheduling appointments

In our experience, consistency is the unsung hero of effective therapy, which is why we encourage our clients to commit to the same time and day.
We offer both in-person and remote therapy – whatever works best for you.

24-hour cancellation policy

We appreciate that life can sometimes get in the way, which is why we’re as flexible as possible when it comes to rescheduling your sessions. As long as a new date and time has been agreed more than 24 hours prior to your original booking, there will be no charge. However, any changes made inside the final 24 hours before your original booking will incur the full fee. Any outstanding fees must be settled before any further sessions can be booked.

Holidays

We usually take breaks over summer and Christmas, but will always give you advance warning to minimise any potential disruption to your programme.

Ending therapy

There is no fixed expiration with psychotherapy but endings can be an important part of the therapeutic process. That’s why we suggest our clients book at least three sessions to conclude the programme.

Complaints/feedback

If you are unhappy in any way with the service, please don’t hesitate to let us know and we’ll endeavour to resolve any issues as quickly as we can. Alternatively, if you have any suggestions as to how we might improve our service, please be sure to send them over.

Confidentiality

Needless to say, all sessions are completely confidential and any clinical notes are encrypted. Only in the rare instance that there is a legal or ethical obligation will your information be shared; other than that, you can expect complete privacy.

Insurance

All our therapists hold professional liability insurance.

Code of Ethics

We are committed to a regulatory framework and follow the standards of proficiency set by the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council). This ensures our work is safe and your wellbeing is at the epicentre of all that we do.

DBS

We hold a clean Enhanced Check from The Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS).
